It's My Life

So, if you have been following my blog for a while then you know of everything that has happened with my boyfriend and I. And for those of you who haven't, go back and read the juicy news. Haha, okay not really juicy news, more like heartbreaking at the time. I thought for sure that life would not go on but it did and it still continues to move on. I have recently caught some shit for getting back together with Josh after everything that he did. I am well aware of what happened, how it happened, every little detail of what happened, I am the one who lived it, remember? So, if I make the decision to get back together with him why do you feel the need to criticize my decision. Last time I checked it was MY life, not yours. Yes, awful stuff happened, but it is between the two of us. If we can make things right and be happy, why do you feel the need to put your two sense in? Is everything all fine and dandy, no. But we are making things better. So unless I personally ask for your opinion, keep your negativity to yourself. I am all for good times and laughter, not negative nancy's everywhere.

Military Monday

So, Happy Military Monday!

Today, I am extra thankful because my man comes home in 4 days, yes count them

4 days! I am excited to see him, finally. Its been a really long month. We have a

lot to discuss and work through, but were both really happy. And besides, I have

to enjoy all the time I have with him before that dreaded D word appears in our

life.

On to my day today, I went to work for a hour and a half. Yes, you heard that

correctly. Biggest waste of my time, ever. I spend more money in gas driving

there and driving home then I actually make. Serving is not a hard job, but

the place I am at just isn't busy. Don't get me wrong, the food is wonderful,

just bad location. So needless to say, I am job hunting with full force again.

I never stopped, just wasn't so pro-active because well, I had a "job".

Well things are changing, so say a prayer for me, that I get this job that has

great potential, and its looking good in my favor because I REALLY

need it! Until next time...

A Year Later?

So today I was talking to boyfriend about what our living arrangments were gonna be when he comes home next year from his upcoming deployment. I know, I know, its still a while away but its still something that needs to be talked about. Anyways, he thinks we should get a place in our hometown and live here. I think we should stay in Columbus. Heres the pros and cons to staying "home":

Pros:

Both of our families are here

Our friends are here

Just the comfort of "home"

Cons:

His job that he LOVES is in Columbus

I don't want to live here anymore

The weather is crappy ALL the time

I'm sure I got some more to add later. But to be honest, I am perfectly okay with living away from my familiy. We are not far enough away to where they can't visit, but were far enough to have our own life. In fact, I can't stand to be around my family all the time. I can only handle them in small doses. I get annoyed and frustrated quickly with what can be petty things sometimes, I try not too, but I just can't help it. Which is why only visiting would be perfect!

Reason #2, he loves his job. He won't come out and say this right now, but he does. And now he is persistant on finding a job in our hometown. Im not saying he won't find something, but I don't think he will find anything that will compare to his job now and how much he enjoys it. And make the same about he is making now.

I guess I don't really have many good things to say about this place, because I am ready to be out of here. If I had it my way we would leave the state of Ohio. I know its still a year away, but with him leaving soon and being gone for so long, some of these things just need to be brought up. And besides, my actual friends would come visit us. And I know his would too!

So, in honor of me lovingggg Kenny Chesney and him performing in concert in my town tonight and me not being able to go, I want to share with you my favorite song ever. If I get married, this will definitly be played at my wedding! I hope you guys enjoy!

Now for the catch up part! All has been well on my part. Josh and I are doing better and things are slowly getting worked out. I can't wait for him to come home from Arkansas though, so we can actually start to make a mends. I have some very exciting news to share soon enough, when the time is right! ;)

Now for a good cause. Tonight I went to Applebee's with my best friends Kenny and Danny to support a cause that some kids I graduated high school are doing. They are all in the military themselves, so this is wonderful for them to be doing. Basically 15% of however much your bill turned out to be would go towards Military Troops and their families. To help provide things that they are struggling with or need help with while their spouse is away. I think this is absolutely wonderful and think that more people should do this.

Hmm..pink! Because its my favorite color. LOL, I know not

a good reason, but its all I got.

{two} how have you changed in the past year?

I have learned that I don't need anyone to depend on. I learned that happiness

is something you have to work at. I have changed dramatically from who I was

a month ago.

{three} have you ever had any surgeries?

Yes, I have a screw in my right ankle from playing soccer for forever

{four} why did you start your blog?

Well my friend Jenner is the one who started it for me. But I mainly started it just to

say what was on my mind and speak about what was needed. Basically a public

diary. It  has since then gone in every different direction..and still changing.

{five} what are you looking forward to this summer?

Well I am in the last days of my summer vacation, so I can't look forward to

that anymore. So I guess just laying out and tanning. And eventually saying

goodbye to my boyfriend as we adventure through our first deployment

and whatever else life has in store.

{six} do you have any family traditions for the 4th of July?

My sister has a huge 4th of July bash every year, complete with a firework

show that is better than what the city puts on. Then Joshs Aunt has a huge

party on her big piece of property that is always fun.

So for whatever reason Blogger won't let me sign into my "name" to comment on other peoples blogs. But yet I can sign in and update mine and read all of yours. All it does is keeps redirecting me to login to post my comments, every single time. It never tells me my information is wrong, just doesn't sign me in. So I have been patiently trying to comment on all your blogs, it just won't let me. If anyone knows how to fix this issue, please let me know!

New News!

So I have been MIA on here for a while. With good reason though. I am currently in Oklahoma visiting my bestest friend in the entire world. She lives in Lawton aka Fort Sill. It is so pretty and hot here. The bugs are out of control here though. Don't worry I'll post pictures at the end. But they are life size, its crazy. First we had a lizard in the house, which we were terrified of and took us 20 minutes to catch. Then the next day we had a scorpion in the house, which was even scarier. Now you always see things in three's, so I am just waiting to see what other crazy creature I see before I leave. The tarantula's are lifesize down here too, its scary. I may pee my pants if I see one of those in real life, and apparently its tarantula season right now.

The scenery down here is amazing. It's like a whole different world down here with the desert and all the mountains. It is amazing, I dont think I ever want to leave. And its supposed to be a cool 104 degrees today. Can't wait to get my tan on :)

So on other newsss. Josh and I are back together. We are trying to make things work and make things right. Its gonna be a whole lot of work and effort but I think we can make it right. So I'm excited to see what happens and where the future goes!

Weekend Recap

So Thursday afternoon I learned how to play pitty pat, kind of. It was interesting, they kept trying to get me to play with my dollars. Not happening though. I won one hand, so I would of lost like 10 bucks. Good thing I didn't play with money, I would of not been happy. Then around 4:50ish, I left to drive to Columbus. Yes, Columbus. This is my blog, I don't need to hide stuff. I went to see Josh before he left for Arkansas for a month. If you don't like it, tough. I always manage to leave when traffic is heavy, why I don't know, doesn't make much sense. But I finally got there around 7 and Josh was passed out. I woke him up and we went and got some Raising Cane's, which is amazinggg! Came back home, watched a movie and just hung out. It was nice.

Friday was a busy day. We went shopping and got pedicures. Yes, Josh got a pedicure! haha, I love it. We got some food, actually ate breakfast, lunch and dinner. Neither one of us have done that in a while. I helped him pack, ok well not really, lol. Then we just hung out for a little while and went to sleep. Then Saturday morning he left for Arkansas :( Even though were not dating, saying goodbyes still suck. Its only a month long, but still. He's been a part of my life for so long, I'm not a fan of goodbyes. Maybe we can meet up when I am in Oklahoma, since we'll only be a state apart, hint hint ;) haha. We would be 6 hours away from each other, according to google maps time, which means probably 4 or 5.

Saturday night I started my job. I'm training to be a server. Which is kind of dumb for me to start because I only get to work yesterday and today, then im off until 20 June I believe, because of surgery. Which is why I am headed to Oklahoma. I can't work, so why not enjoy these 2 weeks before reality starts and I work all the time. Oh, and in case you were wondering, surgery is on Tuesday, this Tuesday 7 June. Not excited. Kind of really scared. The one person I wish was there, can't be there. Even if he wasn't in Arkansas, he probably still wouldn't be there. Just sucks.

But I absolutely adore him. Through all the bad and all the good. I love him. I will always love him.
